Director and program lead for JDRF’s Prevention Program, Dr. Dunne develops and implements research programs that address key scientific and program gaps within the
prevention portfolio, including vaccine research/development, biomarkers to predict risk and rate of progression, and clinical interventions to delay or prevent symptomatic type 1 diabetes(T1D).
